The David Spoon Experience 10-1-19

Dave tears apart John 5 as he breaks down the experience that the invalid had at the Pool of Bethesda. First, the man is challenged by Jesus to see if he really wants to be healed. Many people are so used to their infirmities that they really don't want big changes. Next Dave shows that Jesus tells the man that he "can" get better, with a change of heart, mind, and action. The Jewish leaders are so mad and blind because Jesus did something nice. Their legalism made them is the miracle. And it's not enough to be touched by Jesus. We need to turn to Him and away from a life of sin in order to have a blessed eternity.
