So says James 1:17. So anything and everything good in anyone and everyone’s life is a GIFT from God. 2) Satan then makes a false statement. He says, “Take away his health, and he will curse You to Your face.” Not always. Some people don’t think that way. Unfortunately, too many Christians do get bitter in the end. But why did God say, “Do whatever, but spare his life…?” Because if Job died, the contest would be over. So for the best result, God allowed Job to walk through the valley of the shadow of death, but not to die. It is assigned for man once to die (Hebrews 9:27). His assignment time did not come up yet. 3) His wife said: the unspoken and unexamined partaker of this contest. So she lost everything Job did, including the children. Her response was to curse God and die. So, ironically, Satan was correct regarding her spirit. And he could be right of many others. But not to Job. God knew Job. God won.
