Expository Morey time. Which means more expository on chapter one, of The Epistle to the Ephesians. On today's show, Dave tackles Paul's prayer, after showing that we are saved, by the Father, by the Son, and by the Spirit. Paul talks about giving thanks for the these dear believers in his prayers, something we should all do on a regular basis. Then Paul pivots into telling the church at Ephesus that he's praying that they would know God more and more. Epi-gnosis is a word that means to know by experience as well as knowledge. This is what Paul was praying that this happens to the Ephesians. And also that they may know the hope, riches, and inheritance they have in Christ.
