God said wipe everyone out but Saul let the King live and the soldiers keep the cattle and sheep. You can make sacrifice religious but obedience is response. The are things God wants us to do, instead of doing we act like we did them, make a monument to ourselves but God knows we didn't do as He asked. It's like someone asking for you to Pray for them, you say you will but never Pray, the Prayer is answered and that person thanks you and you know you didn't Pray but you still say welcome if though you never Prayed. Just Do It! 2 Kings 5:1-14 Dave talks about Naaman being healed of leprosy. When the Lord tells you to do something DO IT! Obey the Lord. New Testament Law Who do we respond to above all else? Do what the Lord tells you to do.
