A) Paul's admonition to Timothy is to remember not to neglect the gift that is within him. This is common among many Christians; God has bestowed a special gift, a charisma, inside each individual, something unique and connected to them. However, often we fail to exercise, develop, and grow in that gift. For instance, if God has gifted someone with preaching, teaching, or any other ability, there is a need for continuous growth and improvement, even in the gift of love. B) Being somewhat of a charismatic, Paul informs Timothy that the gift he received was passed on to him through prophecy and the laying on of hands. Just imagine how some churches today might view the idea that gifts can be imparted by laying on hands, especially powerful gifts like prophecy. It should be noted that the power of the Holy Spirit transmitted this gift through the elders of the church. Paul urges Timothy not to forget the experience and how the gift was imparted to him.C) Paul advises Timothy to meditate on these things, including his encounter with the impartation of the Holy Spirit's gift. Meditation here means continually rolling these thoughts in the mind, contemplating and focusing on them. It is essential to keep these experiences at the forefront of one's thoughts and reflect on them deeply.D) The Apostle says something peculiar; he encourages Timothy to dedicate himself entirely to these matters so that his progress will be evident. He emphasizes the importance of being fully invested and continuously advancing in this aspect of life. In essence, Paul urges Timothy to be completely committed, to strive for progress, and to persevere in growing and maturing in his gifts and calling.

1) We'll explore Luke as a profile of one of the individuals in the New Testament. There are fascinating characteristics of Luke that we should not only aim to emulate but also appreciate his level of commitment. While many know him as a doctor, it's less commonly known that he wasn't Jewish.2) During my Bible studies, I encountered a unique format that I found to be akin to immersing myself in Scripture—a "scripture bath." I believe there's a powerful concept in finding encouraging words for our ministry endeavors. I have a list of verses that I'd be happy to share, and I'll be reading each one with accompanying comments. This teaching draws inspiration from Betty Barnett, one of the directors of WHAM.3) Recently, I stumbled upon an intriguing revelation in the Greek text. During the temptations, Jesus answered Satan three times in Matthew, and it's interesting to note that none of the three Greek words He used were the same. For those who enjoy word studies, this will be a treat.

A) The last chapter of Hebrews is truly a blessing. One of the writer's significant points is urging us to "let brotherly love continue." This phrase holds profound meaning, emphasizing that through the God-ordained grace and empowerment of Jesus Christ, bestowed upon us by the Holy Spirit, we can persist in loving our brothers, sisters, and the entire family of God. Failing to do so would only hinder us from reflecting Jesus accurately.B) Moreover, the writer highlights the importance of hospitality. God delights in His people having a hospitable attitude towards others, demonstrating care and concern for their well-being. This concept is vividly exemplified through the story of Lot, who, even in a dreadful city, showed consideration for others.C) A fascinating thought emerges from one of the New Testament's coolest lines: "By entertaining others, we may unknowingly encounter angels." This refers to actual supernatural beings, not just messengers, which is why the scripture indicates that we might not be aware of their true nature.D) The next passage has inspired several ministries, focusing on supporting Christins imprisoned due to their faith. Remembering and standing in solidarity with our persecuted brothers and sisters worldwide is vital. The prevalence of Christian persecution demands our prayers and awareness, as Satan employs beastly governments and false prophets to accuse and torment them.

1) Chapter 18 in the book of Acts recounts Paul's departure from Athens and his return to Corinth. During this time, he encounters Priscilla and Aquila, who become strong friends and allies for Paul. Witnessing how the Lord leads us to individuals who provide refreshment and strengthening after accomplishing missions or tasks is truly amazing. 2) The scriptures shed some light on Priscilla and Aquila's background, revealing that they were expelled from their previous residence due to their belief in Jesus as Jews. What's particularly fascinating is the deep connection between Paul and this couple, as they all share the occupation of tentmakers. The presence of common ground proves to be a powerful tool in fostering fellowship and mutual support among believers.3) The core message remains unchanged: Jesus is the Messiah, the Christ sent by God, and that is what Paul and other believers preach, regardless of whether it is well-received or rejected by people. In Paul's case, he faced rejection from many, but he stood firm in his convictions.

A) The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ is exemplified through Paul's powerful message to the church at Corinth. Paul ensures that the Corinthians understand the incredible sacrifice Jesus made for the sake of others, despite His place of glory and wealth, by giving up everything, even His own life, for everyone.B) In this passage, we encounter a rare occurrence in Scripture where Paul shares his personal opinion. While it may not be a mandate, his observation holds value, shedding light on the Corinthians' passionate and sacrificial giving. He reminds them of their initial fervor when they first embraced salvation, eager to advance the kingdom of God and honor Jesus Christ.C) Like a dedicated fitness coach, Paul praises their past efforts and encourages them to finish what they started. He urges them not to falter in the middle but to persevere until the end. It's like being in a race, feeling exhausted halfway through, and hearing a whisper in your heart and mind, "Keep going, never quit."

1) Wow. Are you in for a treat today. Maybe! We will review a sermon I preached over 30 Years ago….AGAIN…ONLY IT’S PART 2. It’s as significant today as it was then, and maybe even more so. But before we get into this unique teaching, I am giving you a soft encouragement and warning. This does not, this should not, and this will not be for any form of legalism in your life. This is a message that is to challenge you. The purpose is to take this information and draw one step closer to the Lord.2) We have covered The sin of prayerlessness. NOW, we cover The Causes of Prayerlessness, the second half. We’re going to discover that prayerlessness is not just a weakness but an actual sin. And we will discover that the causes of prayerlessness involve warfare. The great truth that we have already discussed is that the most difficult part of praying is fighting against the flesh. That’s the old man, the old nature, who is crucified positionally but not crucified practically. We will discuss how to neuter the old brooder and give him the booter on a scooter.3) We will define the struggle. We will look at its various aspects and processes. And we will understand that this message is not to disregard (in any fashion) the Holy Word that God has given us. The purpose of this message is to fire up our engines so that we spend MORE time with the Lord. But I am going to cover the second side of the coin that we have in this relationship with God. Here’s the deal. If you’re looking to get victory over the old you and to walk fully in the new you, Then you have to use God’s truth to defeat the lies of the enemy, the lies of the world, and even the lies of your own flesh. Ouch.

A) We begin with Psalm 38, often regarded as a song reflecting a time of chastening. However, it's important to remember that when the Lord chastens us, it demonstrates His love for us. David initiates the Psalm with a prayer I frequently ask the Lord on a daily basis: "Do not rebuke me in Your wrath, nor chasten me in Your hot displeasure." To put it simply, it means, "Lord, I understand that You’re angry with me because of what I've done, but please don't take it out on me. I need help." B) Your arrows deeply pierce me, and your hand weighs me down. Allow me, as your brother and servant of the Lord, to share with you a dream I've mentioned before. It involved the Lord asking me to surrender and submit. The dream was related to a fight between my brother Billy and me, but it wasn't a fierce confrontation. It was more like a fun wrestling match filled with enjoyment rather than ferocity. Nevertheless, there was still a message from the Lord.C) David proceeds to express that he doesn't feel a sense of soundness in his flesh or health. He can sense that something is amiss in his bones. There's a feeling of uneasiness, indicating an imbalance in his inner being and his connection to his King. It's important to note that this isn't the same as feeling uncomfortable on Earth. Instead, it refers to the discomfort of knowing that we are temples of the Holy Spirit.D) Who among us can't relate to the following statement by David when he says, "My iniquities have gone over my head. They have risen; they are out of control. They are too heavy for me." David acknowledges that the weight of sin is too burdensome for him to handle alone, and he desperately needs the help of God. He also recognizes that the magnitude of sin sometimes becomes overwhelming, and he can only surrender himself to God's mercy. Therefore, we should humbly request for our Dad to have mercy on us.

1) I love Galatians. It's amazing to recognize that when we start our Christian journey, we begin with the most simplistic faith but often add to it. The entire purpose of this epistle is for us to stop doing that. Does God work miracles among us and give us the Holy Spirit because we're obedient or because we have faith? The answer is implied in the question: by faith. We see miracles and get filled with more of the Holy Spirit in the present tense.2) God declared Abraham righteous by his faith. Therefore, the real children of Abraham are those who put their faith in God. While circumcision was a sign in the flesh, faith is a sign of the heart. When we put faith in God from our hearts, he circumcises our hearts, making us more the children of Abraham than anything else.3) Galatians 3:8-9 provides yet another stellar testimony about God declaring the gospel ahead of time through the Old Testament. The Scriptures state that the good news was given to Abraham a long time ago: that by faith, people would be accepted by God. If people have genuine faith, they have a genuine desire to be obedient to what the Lord desires.4) All who put their faith in Christ share the same blessing Abraham received because of his faith. This means that if we have faith in Jesus Christ, we are heirs of Abraham and his offspring because we have put our faith in Christ, just like Abraham put his faith in God's promise. This makes us not only connected to Abraham but related to him in the mind and heart of God.

A) Regarding satanic activity, Jesus says that in order to enter a strong man’s house and rob him, you must first tie him up. This story is often taught in the wrong direction. Jesus is telling us that we are the ones entering his house and taking it back from him. The way we do this is by tying up Satan through Jesus Christ. His authority, His power, His name.B) Regarding helping or opposing Jesus, the Lord makes it clear that you are either for the Kingdom and a kingdom builder or against the kingdom. If you do nothing, you are also against the kingdom.

60 minutes:1) Elihu brings home the bacon when he tells Job that God is greater than any person. Why are you bringing a charge against Him? He does not respond to people's complaints. This could be one of the key issues in every individual's walk with God. Here's the question: Why, God? Here's the answer: Why not, David? The truth is that God surpasses everyone else and owes no man any explanation at any time for anything. Period.2) And yet, in God's tremendous mercy, He continues to speak repeatedly. However, people fail to listen and recognize the voice of God. When God speaks, people often mistake it for thunder because they aren't attentive to the message being conveyed. God even takes the time to communicate with mankind through their dreams. He whispers warnings in their ears, even while they sleep. These messages come directly from Him, yet they go unnoticed.3) In his abundant mercy, God works to bring about change in people's hearts and minds, leading them to redirect their lives and commit to Him. He does this because he loves people and desires their redemption. Unfortunately, too many of his creations remain in rebellion and choose not to respond, which deeply saddens Him. He tries to speak softly into their minds, but often they wake up and forget about Him altogether.4) Here's a hidden gem—a proclamation of the Gospel found in Job, Chapter 33, Verse 23. The Lord mentions that people long for a special messenger from Heaven. And if that Messenger prays for a person's righteousness to be declared, God will respond and answer that prayer. Guess who the answer to that prayer is? The answer is Jesus Christ. Through Jesus, we have a special messenger from heaven Who intercedes for us. When we position ourselves to receive blessings from this Special Messenger, we discover that God hears all our prayers. Now, isn't that amazing?

30 minutes:
Hello San Diego! A) To this end, we labor and suffer reproach; here, reproach has a variety of interpretations. The Greek work is agōnizometha, where we get the word to agonize. Other translations translate the word to strive or to struggle hard. As believers and ambassadors for Jesus Christ, we work, toil, agonize, and struggle for the kingdom. B) But the reason we go through this: we ACTUALLY trust the Living God and not the dying government or its minions. The reason we go through bizarre spiritual attacks is the very fact that we trust in God. It is a distinguishing mark for us as His children. Because we trust in the Creator, all the rebellious creation hates us like they hated Jesus. But we push through as Jesus taught us to do.C) Who is the Savior of all men. The Savior is God. Jesus is the Savior. Jesus is God. And the offer is to all. But it only applies to those who believe. Contrary to the dark theology of Universalism, a theory that WRONGLY proclaims everyone will be saved, the road to life is narrow, and there are few that find it. Jesus (the good moral teacher who would never lie) said, “I am the way.” He did not say, “Go ahead and make up your own way.”D) Let no one despise your youth: Don’t let that kind of stuff touch you. Because somebody thinks or says something about you …doesn’t mean you have to wear their yuck like a hat on your head. Instead, be an example. Not only should we ignore the attacks, but we should go beyond that and show we are true to the Lord and ourselves by our example, which means by what we say and do.

1) I love this teaching that the Lord is trying to communicate to me regarding love. The world’s definition of love is perverted. Love is not love. Jesus said, As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. The author of Hebrews writes that if we are loved by God, then we are disciplined by God. These are foreign concepts to the world. However, too many Christians have taken the opposite approach. All they want to do is rebuke, chasten, and discipline. That is equally wrong. We will examine. 2) Continuing our fun in Isaiah, we examine when we call upon the Lord, how the Lord wants us to respond to Him …and to those around us! He tells us, “Stop finger-pointing when you call upon My name. It is actually a yoke of burden and enslavement when we spend our time finger-pointing at everybody else. Not recognizing what's going on with their own lives is what Jesus likened to the difference between a splinter in someone else’s eye and a log in our own eye.
