A) We ALWAYS carry the death so that we can live the life…of Jesus. A few ministries, even in Texas, shun the idea of carrying your cross daily. These are not “false teachers trying to divide the church by Satan’s hand.” They are just wrong in their teacher. Apollos taught incorrectly. He wasn’t a false teacher. He was wrong. B) Acts 18:24-26 states, Meanwhile, a Jew named Apollos, an eloquent speaker who knew the Scriptures well, had arrived in Ephesus from Alexandria in Egypt. 25 He had been taught the way of the Lord, and he taught others about Jesus with an enthusiastic spirit and with accuracy. However, he knew only about John’s baptism. 26 When Priscilla and Aquila heard him preaching boldly in the synagogue, they took him aside and explained the way of God more accurately.C) The reasoning is straightforward from the Apostle Paul: We don’t live to ourselves because WE won’t save anybody. But the more we reflect Jesus, the more Gospel gets shared. We are the Jesus billboards. D) Paul was willing to suffer hardship or martyrdom so that the Corinthians could know the power of God. Paul faced opposition when he ministered in Corinth (Acts 18:6), but the Spirit encouraged him to stay and not be afraid (Acts 18:9–10). Consequently, many Corinthians heard the gospel message and accepted it. Paul’s suffering and endurance are intended to bring about this same resurrection life among the Corinthians as they learn to trust God amid adversity.

1) REDO REDO REDO…OKAY, folks, I’m just trying to be honest in this process as best I can. I feel this nudge, pull, and redirection back into some spiritual gifts and supernatural reviews. The problem with this is that people get caught up in it way too much, and that is not the intent of sharing. My intent in sharing is just to ensure that we remain available for the Lord to use us and do things in our lives. Whether we understand it all or not. To that end, I will do my best to communicate with you from my heart that our awareness needs to be better than ever.2) AGAIN, AGAIN, AGAIN, the first thing I want to discuss is an “Overview of Spiritual Gifts.” By Overview, I’m pretty sure you understand that what I mean is we need to look at it from a helicopter point of view before we look at it from the “in the forest” point of view. So I will answer a few different questions in this next teaching to the best of my ability. But I do want you to understand something very important in regard to the entire theology (from every single denomination, everywhere, anywhere and always); You do NOT have to agree with me to fellowship with me and be a part of this ministry. 3) Everybody’s theology is holy. So, what does that mean? It does not mean that everybody’s theology is sanctified, purposeful, full of pity, separated under the Lord and full of Godliness. It means that everybody’s theology is like Swiss cheese, no matter who they are, where they are, and how confident they sound. The reason that it’s like Swiss Cheese because there are various holes in different places for different theologies. So, you have 2 choices: take the holy, put it on the sandwich, and eat it. Or run away. Your call.

A) The angel of the Lord: Come on, let’s be real. How cool is this? The angel of the Lord encamps means God dwells around, lives around, hangs around, and is around the people that fear the Lord. Then people understand that deliverance comes from God. And the angel of the Lord manifests that deliverance. How far away is God…? Not far at all. The real question is, how far away is our faith?
B) O taste and see that the Lord is good. I just want to make sure everybody understands that while this could potentially be a forerunner to the New Covenant being manifest by the blood and the bread of Jesus Christ, it is just as likely to be understood in the context of a person checking out the Lord. Engage with God, taste and see, and He will delight you. He will bless you. He will encourage you. He is the Manna, Bread from heaven. The Lord is good.

1) A first on The Experience: Dave continues with the teachings from the first 30 minutes. Matthew 10 > Guess what? These trials, these difficult times, these Christian attacks, these unfair government principles, and these ridiculous persecutions all lead to the most important element of our faith: the opportunity to witness for the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to testify of the kingdom of God. But don’t fear. The Holy Spirit will speak through you. So, the only preparation is to be in communion with the Lord.
2) Let us see. They hated Jesus. No, no, Dave, everybody loved Jesus. Is that why many will be on the road to destruction, and narrow is the path that leads to life? Hmmm. The truth is that Jesus told us we would be hated because of our allegiance to Him. The Bible says, “Woe to you when all men speak well of you.”
3) Back to Galatians: The Gospel is not based on human reasonings: hopefully, people will not misunderstand that this does not promote zero logical reasonings within the gospel framework. It means that it is not based on human reasonings, which have origins in men being the center of everything. Additionally, it's equally important to understand that Paul is trying to communicate that the vehicle that is chosen to engage with God is faith. You can't get saved without faith, no matter how good you look, smart, or self-righteous you act. All our righteousness is as filthy rags before the eyes of God.

1) Sending you out as sheep among wolves. Matthew 10 > Gee, who are the wolves? The worldly and the worldly systems of education, governments, and false religions. The Christian should immediately recognize from this text that spiritual warfare is coming upon ALL of those who name the name of Jesus in truth and sincerity. The truth is that if you, as a believer, are more concerned with appeasing the worldly, you are less a Christian and more of a people pleaser. Sorry…we CANNOT be both. Be aware like a snake that's over everything around it.
2) Brother Sergio calls in and asks another brilliant question: Dowe, as believers, have a target on our backs? Dave goes to the matt in discussing spiritual warfare, the feelings of disappointment when we fail the Lord, and the reality that we MUST stand by grace, and grace alone.

1) I am greatly disturbed: Oh boy, there won’t win any fans, but the truth doesn’t change. Science changes. People change. Government changes. Cultures change, BUT the truth never changes. The current culture exists in this fake self-righteous bubble called “I am offended.” The Media is directly complicit in this insanity. This is a key reason why God established His Word amongst the earliest of mankind. Because of humanity’s sinfulness, when people are offended, it is because they think they are God. And everybody should notice and care. HOGWASH. I call shenanigans. Who cares if we are disturbed? Get over it. 2) His wealth will bring him no joy, referring to the wealthy. But money makes everybody happy. This same goofiness ignores King Solomon’s warnings that wealth is NOT the answer. Money is not happiness. It is not evil unless the person’s full pursuit is money. It’s a mindset. Like positive thinking. Unless the home football team loses when it proves that being positive doesn’t always work. 3) The truth is that the wicked live to a good old age: Yes, they often do. Don’t be in denial. They do. Don’t always think people with money are more blessed. But that is when the believer needs to remember Psalm 73. And we all go oopsy daisy. Oy vey.

A) Pray everywhere. Anywhere, everywhere, and always. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 states, never stop praying. Prayer keeps us connected to God is the heartbeat of our faith. Without it, we don’t get saved, we don’t grow, and we don’t do much of anything for the kingdom of God.
B) Lifting holy hands has to do with the position of surrender. To God, we should say, “Lord, before You, I surrender all.”

1) We will spend a little time recognizing that The Proverbs contain great wisdom. And one of the things that ONE of our favorite Proverbs says is, Trust in the Lord with all our heart, and lean not on your own understanding. We all know that’s Proverbs 3:5-6. But just three verses later come another trough of wisdom. Proverbs 3:9 states, “Honor the Lord with your possessions.” So, it’s quite clear that every single thing that we have (EVERYTHING) is a stewardship unto God. What is not clear to many believers is HOW we honor God. We will examine.2) It is amazing how many principles in business are closely connected to biblical truths. Most accredited business classes will often mention that REAL delegation with authority finds its roots in the story of Moses and Jethro, his father-in-law. And there is also the principle of fulfilling a need and thereby achieving a general sense of value and usefulness. But also, this one: The proof of concept. This one is associated with producing fruit in any endeavor. It is demonstratable. It also comes from the scriptures. God is the first to use the proof-of-concept principle. He uses it…with His people.

A) Moving on in the Hall of Fame of faith, we start to look at the walls of Jericho. It’s not a coincidence that the next element of faith involves walls. The rock band Kansas had a song called the wall was written by Terry Livgren, who is a Christian. How do I know he was? Besides hanging out with my brother in Christian fellowship, I have talked with him personally.B) The bottom lyrics to the song go like this: To pass beyond is what I seek; I fear that I may be too weak, And those are few who've seen it through to glimpse the other side, The promised land is waiting like a maiden that is soon to be a bride. That’s right. It’s all about getting past the wall. What gets us past the wall? Our faith brings the walls down.C) And how much faith did Joshua have to have that, instead of approaching Jericho like the military man he was, God requested him to march around the city and play music? For six days, no words whatsoever. And then on the 7th day, bammo. It makes me what to Shout. There are not a lot of military strategies that would fit this mold, except the military strategy of Trust in God and Walk by Faith. D) I don’t want a short-change Rahab because she deserves plenty of recognition. Not only is she involved in the genealogy of Christ, but she is a key component as to why Israel prevailed. And she was moved by faith. She wasn’t exactly Ms. Squeaky Clean, but she was exactly the person God wanted.

1) We are merely human beings like yourselves. Wow. Don’t you wish that all of the people in front of the ministry, the ones on stage, would sit this a little more often? Pastor Kurt, from Stillwater, does a great job of this. But not many live in the humble. I would tend to listen and review with much greater intensity if the people speaking would remember that the division of true excellence is between Heaven and earth and by thirty or forty feet from the pulpit to the pew. 2) He never left Himself without a witness. Again, wow. We must remember that God will give everybody a fair shake to respond to his witness. Not every witness is the same. That is because not every person is not the same. But God knows what each person needs. And He will never fail to witness to His truth. A person under a lamb is a sign of righteousness in a godless nation. And the leading atheist has asked why God is so hard to find. That is because it takes faith to see. 3) And here is how flakey people are. In one moment, the people can hardly restrain themselves from offering sacrifices to Paul and Barnabas. They thought of the two messengers and ministers as God walking amongst them. After a few well-placed lies and deceptions, the people turned from believing that these two were gods to believing that they were goons. From gods to goons in the blink of a lie.

A) Treasure: The knowledge of God in the face of Christ. Earthen vessels are weak and fragile. This verse is virtually thematic for the entire letter, expressing the paradox of how weak human beings can be the instruments of the power of God (see 12:9, 10). The Spirit-Filled Study Bible.B) Jars of Clay: 4:7 this treasure. The gospel. Jars of clay. Treasures were sometimes concealed in clay jars, which had little value or beauty and did not attract attention to themselves and their contents. Here they represent Paul’s human frailty and unworthiness. NIV Study Bible.C) Pressed down, perplexed, persecuted, and struck down. My goodness, who wouldn’t want to be a Christian with all these fantastic things that take place in our lives as believers? Yep, it seems like this is a real opiate, according to. to Karl Mocks, I mean, Karl Marx. He thought this was a simplistic healing bomb for our soft psyches. That’s right. Being continually attacked spiritually is just like a party.D) The key is that with every one of these pushdowns and moments that touch and hurt us, there is always the bounce back because God is a God of redemption.
