A) Psalm 27 starts off with the message we need to remember: Whom shall I fear? Let’s see what Jesus said about this. Matthew 10:28 states, And do not fear those who kill the body, but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Man can do nothing of eternal consequences to you, me, or any other person. B) My heart: Here is the ticket. If our hearts are fixed on Jesus, then they can’t be fixed on fear. If our hearts our set on fear, they are concerned about what is coming, not what has been. The heart that sees forward is the heart that reigns. The heart that sees backward is the heart that faints. C) One thing. Remember “City Slickers?” That’s when Curley said, “There’s just one thing.” Guess what? He was right. He was just wrong about what the one thing was. David got it right: And it ties into Psalm 23. D) The secret place. Not The Secret, which is a pack of lies. Wish it, Want it, Do it, by Brian Griffen, the dog. Same thing. The secret place is the privacy of you and the Lord. Most often, it’s thought of as a closet.

1) The Lord speaks. The Lord speaks through the stars above and nature below. He speaks through people and circumstances. God speaks through a variety of methods. But the one that we doubt the most is when God speaks to US directly. We operate in such doubt and fear that we often attribute God’s voice to something else. So why are we afraid to believe that God speaks today? If He didn’t, you and I wouldn’t be saved. And we all know that the word of God is ALIVE. 2) I amaze myself. But not in a good way. I am amazed that whatever my circumstance, I still operate in a healthy amount of “this is a total waste of time. Let’s get it going, God” attitude. In case you think I’m being self-effacing or foolish, I said this very thing in front of my wife. I say, and I quote: “Come on, God, let’s get it going.” Do you know why I make such a statement? Because I don’t understand why God allows what he allows. But I do know this: His word is filled with examples of Him using people in their places, in ways and at times those people never imagined. It “ain’t” any different today. 3) Prosperity Gospel is not my thing. However, I’m not convinced that the connection to this thinking is evil; just very wrong. Some of the thought processes are good. But that would be from understanding the value that God places upon us. However, practically walking from a Christian perspective, the way to live is to die. And the way to gain is to let go because this journey is the opportunity to lay up for the next.

Ah, the most outstanding question we can ask ourselves and others. What kind of man is this Jesus Christ? Of course, he feels for people, but He can also stop the wind and the waves with His words. He feels for people as a person but has command over nature as God. 2) Otherside of the region: not His home base. He was traveling. But He didn’t operate as though all the information had to be given ahead of time. He went as He was led by the Holy Spirit and directed to say and do by the Father. But He went forward in faith. Faith that the mission of the kingdom was the mission.

1) Job cries out about his sadness. This is directly related to the loss of his kids. Money is money, just a tool. But your own kin is precious, even if they are walking in a wayward fashion. But he is quick to say that this is the reason he spoke so bitterly. While we may not justify his speech, we should be empathetic and sympathetic to his position. At these levers, compassion exceeds the law. 2) All my terrors are because of God: Well, not exactly. But Job makes a great argument for a moment. He states that even the donkey complains when there is no water, and the oxen whine when there is no food. Absolutely true. Props where props are due. HOWEVER, Job justifying himself by comparing himself, one who is made in the image and likeness of God, to a donkey and oxen is not accurate or complementary. So, there’s that. 3) Then, in a minor shift in potentially logical thinking, Job compares all this to people not having salt and having to eat. Gag a maggot and make a vulture vomit. Job thinks of upchucking when he thinks about eating uncooked egg whites. What this has to do with the death of his kids and the total loss of his positions is a little thin. But his point is that people complain about this stuff, so how much more should he be able to do? The real problem that is complaining at all is sin.

A) A fellow elder: Peter has learned that his accolades are not his accolades but HIS accolades. This was a major personal revelation for me on March 19th, 2022. While doing my devotional and basting of my close to 25 years without missing an hour, the Lord quickly showed me that I did not it. He did it. B) Pete is saying I'm a fellow believer, a witness, and I'm going to be a partaker in what is to come. We can’t lose sight of what is before us: Eternity with God. C) Be shepherds, which is an appeal to the leadership, but with two huge caveats. The first is that church management should not become leaders out of compulsion. That means that no human should force a person to be in leadership, whether through bribes, force, or sweet talk. But that does NOT apply to God. Ask Paul. And the donkey he was knocked off of. D) Caveat Two: NOT lording it over others. Do we know what that means? We should. The greatest leaders are the best servants. Ask Jesus.

Sergio asks a phenomenal question. But before that, what is better than John 3:16? Let’s use the King James Version for this bad boy. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. The Gospel in a verse. But there is another verse that drips of a similar power and passion. Why should that surprise us? 2) This section of scripture demonstrates the demonic and evil spirit of the people that say “prayers” and good thoughts are not enough. Imagine if they said that to Jesus. Picture a person in leadership saying “prayers are not enough” to Jesus, who consistently preached that prayer could move mountains and open the opportunity for miracles. Can the spokesperson for a government official or a government official be any more demonic than this anti-Jesus position? 3) As the year winds down, it will also wind down our often-appreciated Pastor Ray’s devotional book, “This Day.” Pastor Ray is not “gone,” but hanging with J.C. will never be forgotten because his kingdom’s efforts will endure for eternity. Pastor Ray writes about the need for us to be able to see. God’s power is all around us, and we don’t even notice it. The power of spiritual sight is glorious. And without seeing His operation, we miss the miracles.

A) The Law brings a shadow of the good things. What shadow does it bring? A casting reflection of Jesus. Here is the ticket: Jesus is the reality. I know that the kings and the queens of the Coo-Coo show in the media and the government don’t get it. But they are anti-Bible Christians anyway. B) As we mentioned before, our conscience can only be cleansed by the blood of Jesus or seared by delusions and sin. That’s why the Law was the tutor towards Jesus, not the final conclusion. C) Bulls’ and goats’ blood doesn’t ACTUALLY take away the sin. It’s the blood of Jesus. These sacrifices were all pointing towards the cross. What can wash away our sins? Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

1) Good News for the people of Israel. There is peace with God through Jesus: Peter was catching on that the Gospel was expanded. But old habits die hard. Most specifically, religious or traditional ones. And from a practical application point of view, old church habits die hard. It doesn’t matter if God gives us a vision, a sign, a dream, or a prophetic communication. So, what’s the problem? We are often scared. 2) Anointed Jesus with the Holy Spirit and with power for doing good and for healings and deliverances. Because the Father was with the Son, connected to the Holy Spirit. So what did Jesus do? 1) He did good. By that, we mean He taught, loved, cared for, had compassion, and felt people’s pain. He fed people, complimented people, challenged people, and rebuked people. All of that and so much more. He also cast our evil spirits (Yes, they are real and active today. To think not is to deny the words of Jesus). And He operated in the miraculous. 3) Not to the public: but to those of us He chose beforehand. Do you know everyone He has chosen? No. Does God know everyone He has chosen? Yes. To do what? To preach and testify. Yes, that means you and me. 4) Forgiveness leads to the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. of the Holy Spirit.

A) And welcome to 2 Corinthians. We will examine this letter simply because it is the LEAST taught and least known letter of the New Testament. How can I say that? This epistle has fewer commentaries compared to any other book. B) We need to review some of the backgrounds of this letter. This is one of as many as possible four letters written to this church. But this writing is a bit different. This is a mixture of the Holy Spirit being involved in ministry, people who attack Christians personally, and how to handle local conflicts. C) There was a struggle with which letter to teach; the other more significant competitor was Timothy. Ironically, Timothy is with Paul as he is engaging in this writing. In this case, Paul announces he is an apostle. By not by his choosing. In fact, his apostleship was “thrust” upon him. Not so glorious. D) To the church of God in Corinth and throughout Archaia. As Paul writes this, he already knows this material is going past the local hub. It is to the church and the saints. We don’t write letters to dead people. Don’t be offended. Rejoice.

1) For those of us who somewhat understand spiritual warfare, the armies against us are often very challenging. Armies that are against us are often referred to in Ephesians 6:12: For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. 2) Who can be involved in this warfare? Satan, demons, the world, the flesh, people, feelings, sin, it’s like our own El Guapo. Who is El Guapo? As Chevy Chase said, “Lucky Day: In a way, all of us have an El Guapo to face. For some, shyness might be their El Guapo. For others, a lack of education might be their El Guapo. For us, El Guapo is a big, dangerous man who wants to kill us. But as sure as my name is Lucky Day, the people of Santa Poco can conquer their own personal El Guapo, who also happens to be *the actual* El Guapo!”3) The answer for facing our own El Guapo is simple: It is called The Jehosaphat Jam. We follow Jehosaphat as we learn to face the armies of our life. And we may just discover that this dance is a winner!

A great phone call from Samson Wonderful, honest sharing. If you listen to it, it will move you. In lieu of a DDD teaching that we did on 11/08/2022, A strategy that I want to implement for myself, for the show, and for the audience. We are going to live a little bit more like EVA. Eva comes from Eve, which means life. But as you should be aware, it is also an acronym. It stands for: Every Victory Acknowledged. Every victory we have in the Lord needs to be appreciated and Acknowledged, EVERYONE, no matter how big or how small. After all, He knows the hairs on our heads.
