This 60-minutes is all about: 1) One of my passions is to figure out how to best please the Lord. I know that I will fall short in my own strength. In truth, I don’t worry too much about impressing God with my works because I know who I am; A sinner entirely dependent on the grace and mercy of God. But I find the mystery of faith astounding. Somehow, through my believing in Him and believing Him, He is pleased. So, faith is the ticket. It is the chosen vehicle that God has chosen. And it is by faith, through God, that the impossible becomes possible. 2) Here is a reality check for the recent political approaches for people who try to promote socialism established by humanity; Total failure, according to Jesus. That’s right, Jesus was not a capitalist or a socialist, or a communist, or an anything -ist. He was a kingdom of God evangelist. Laying up treasures in heaven does not fly with any human philosophy. Jesus said He is not from here (John 8:23). Workers don’t receive guest hospitalities. Sorry AOC. 3) We are often taught to pay attention to the things around us. This is not a new approach to living. What is novel is to pay attention to “ourselves” and the people around us. Keep an eye on you. No hypocritical judging or we are going to get smacked by God. And forgiveness must be a generosity of ours towards those who do repent. Every time. Thus saith the Lord.

1) The Jewish leaders had enough of Saul. These religious, self-righteous leaders were opposed in their faith, philosophy, and authority. So how did they respond? They sought to murder Saul. When the people don’t line up and walk in lockstep, then the leadership paints these people are rebellious, seditious, anti-government, and anti-authority monsters who need to be exterminated. That’s precisely what the Nazis did to the Jews. And the only question is why this seems eerily familiar in our day and time. 2) The Apostles and the believers in Jerusalem were concerned about Saul too. Talk about a man with nowhere to go. The thought that he was “pretending” to be a Christian. Wow. Talk about a runaway imagination. Who would ever actually think that Satan would send people into a fellowship to pretend to be believers? God. 1 John 2:19; They went out from us, but they were not really of us. 3) Here is something that will make you think twice. The Apostles, the actual leaders of the church, as opposed to named leaders through modern man’s ceremony, were wrong. They didn’t think that Saul was legit. But Barnabas to the rescue. He stood in the gap for the kingdom.

It's an absolutely incredible segment when Annika calls in and challenges believers, both young and old, to reach out to the show and share their victories and their needs and their concerns and their signs of progress. She does a fantastic job of challenging and encouraging all of our listeners to participate, either through the radio on the live air or by sharing testimonies and prayer requests through the website. It's a must-listen. It will completely bless you.

1) Freewill and Pre-destination; Two of everyone’s favorite argumentative points. Boy, oh boy, what would God ever do without us and our brilliant conclusion to His infinite wisdom? Regardless of which side you come down on (and you SHOULD come down on both sides as a Cal-Minnian), we are on a journey, in a play, on a Divine walk, or participants in a race. At a minimum, the human race. And according to God’s perspective, not mesmerizing humanistic poets, this race has been marked out. 2) Let’s see if we can borrow a job title and definition to appreciate this. According to ZipRecruiter, a master planner involves developing daily production schedules, managing inventory to maintain appropriate levels, and coordinating the availability of raw materials for production. Simple because God is the REAL Master Planner; we don’t need to lose our confidence. 3) It’s not an option for us to quit, throw in the towel, take a long walk off of a short pier, give up the ghost, take a powder, or shout, “I Quit.” The reason is straightforward. It is not an option with Jesus.

This 30-minutes is all about: A) In your face! Under this imagery, the psalmist rejoiced in the Lord’s provision. What was comforting to David was that this was in the presence of his enemies? Despite impending danger, the Lord spread out a table for him; God provided for him. B) anointing with oil. A generous host often treated Banqueters in the ancient world to fine oils that would be used to anoint their foreheads. This provided a glistening sheen to their countenance. Also would have added a fragrance to their persons and the room. C) Cup; of the Lord’s banquet. The enemies are powerless to prevent the enjoyment of God’s generous hospitality. Albeit his enemies sought to destroy him, God delivereth him & dealt most liberally with him despite them.

This 60-minutes is all about: 1) Look at me. I am so beautiful. Have you ever seen one of these people in the celebrity realm? They are so obnoxious. They think that they are the reason that the sun rises and sets. They believe that everyone is watching them. And they think they are so good at what they do that other people should be quiet and appreciate their work. How disgusting is this? We call them fake. The most fantastic truth is that this philosophy didn’t come from Hollywood. It came from the religious community. 2) Nobody is going to like me after this DDD. The reason is simple. God allows leaders to make stupid, stupid, stupid decisions for His purposes. But, before you drop a brick on me, consider this; Is God in control? Not just of your life and mine (despite our rebellion), but is He in control? Yes or no? The answer determines whether or not we understand that God is at work, in the governments, and even in a fallen world. If not, how could He foretell about the anti-Christ?

This 30-minutes is all about: 1) The crowd was amazed at the teachings of Jesus. First, He spoke over the authority of the Old Testament. Before the little hairs on the back of our heads stand up, remember that He redefined what adultery was. Ouch. 2) He spoke over the Pharisees and the Sadducees. It was not by speaking louder, but he didn’t whisper either. He knew what He said was the truth. His authority came from Heaven. 3) Right away: When you know that somebody is genuine or valid, you seek their help with situations. In Jesus' case, He demonstrated a teaching level that indicated a divine connection. Therefore, going to Jesus was a wise move. 4) A leper, a social outcast, came to Jesus. Of course, he wasn’t supposed to. But the leper needed help. So, he petitioned for it. He just wanted to make sure Jesus was willing.
