This 30-minutes is all about: A) Enter through the narrow gate: Let’s keep this as simple as Jesus kept this. Narrow means thin, straight, or tight. The way “in” is very specific. Once a person is in, then the landscape is broad, as Ephesians 3:18 states. B) Gate: A small opening. Compared to a wide (which means large) road, it is easily traveled upon, usually upon. And lots of people will be on it. More in Hell than in Heaven? Absolutely, according to Jesus. C) Few that find it: I found it is a valid approach and statement. To find something means to look and to discover. If someone doesn’t know Jesus, encourage them to look for Him.

1) I once was super small. The size of a baby. That’s because I was a baby. And perhaps, in some things, I still am a baby. The Apostle Paul references this in the famous Bible chapter about love. It would likely be a better verse to share at weddings than the ones we typically hear. Paul wrote, When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. One way to put away childish things and thinking is to eliminate the idea that there are things in our life that are too small or too baby-sized for God to care about. That thinking is childish. 2) He who dies with the most toys wins. Wins what? That person wins the biggest fool award because they can’t take it with them. How about this one: But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. Nothing in and nothing out. Your birthday suit is the same when you enter and when you exit. Only treasures in Heaven will matter.3) Christian Vitamins are essential. No, not some multi-level marketing scam. Pulllease. The first type of vitamin that a Christian needs to take is B1. Be a Christian. Be one. And the following vitamin Christian needs to take is the THX. Take this twice a day, at a minimum—at the beginning and end of the day. And then we will grow up to be healthy, spiritually wealthy, and wise.

These 60-minutes are all about: 1) We venture into places unknown as we travel into Jobinian-Land. The outline for this book will be short and specific. Let’s see if we can get a quick grip on this absolutely TRUE and AUTHENTIC story of the man who some people think means employment. How do we know it is true? The best commentator on the scriptures is other scriptures. James 5:11 states We give great honor to those who endure under suffering. For instance, you know about Job, a man of great endurance. You can see how the Lord was kind to him at the end, for the Lord is full of tenderness and mercy. 2) He feared God: which means he lived in reverence, awe, and respect for God. And he knew that God is a holy God. Job had extreme integrity, and he hated evil. He operated in the highest wisdom of the human ages. He stayed away from evil. He has seven sons and three daughters, with a ton of riches. He was, at least, one of the four wealthiest people in the world. 3) His kids were not perfect. Can anyone relate? In fact, they got together at least seven, if not ten, times a year and partied hardy. These parties lasted several days, and Job was concerned that something could have been said or done that would have meant some intense responses from God. He wasn’t sure if they blew it, but he didn’t want to take that chance, So he covered them im prayer and sacrifices.

This 30-minutes is all about: A) It’s the guy’s turn. Remember that God was displeased with Adam and with Eve. Therefore, He is the perfect equal-opportunity conviction determiner of sin. His judgment is absolute and absolutely correct. Consequently, it’s the guy’s turn after the gal’s turn. B) Treat them with (1) consideration. This is the same principle as the word “honor” for the parents. Get it? And with (1) honor. Does your wife sense that you honor her or mock her? Remember, you are no more a member of the eternal community than she is. C) Here is a bump in the road. Dude, if you don’t treat your wife right then, God won’t treat your prayers right either. Muzzled prayers much?

This 60-minutes is all about: 1) Something different, once again. Two teachings are split into two parts. 2) Impudence. Wow…what a word! It means perseverance, boldness, nerve, or chutzpah. There is a sense of audacity. In Greek, the term is an-ah'-ee-die-ah, and is only used once in the New Testament. It translates into "shamelessness" and relates to carrying out God's plan with "unembarrassed boldness" in the dignity of faith. It is a faith-led believer who is not halted by human fears – even when others cry "overdone" (i.e., accuse them of being extreme or excessive). Jesus used this word to tell His disciples how to pray. This is not Luke 18:5, where Jesus teaches us to annoy. This is worse. 3) The Christian faith stands apart from all other belief systems. Some false belief systems picture their connections with God from a distance with Him creating and then leaving the earth in human hands. Boom. There goes the planet. Other demonic systems picture God as a cruel taskmaster. One mistake, and God sends tornadoes, hurricanes, and plagues, judging every moment of every failure. The flood came after humanity was steeped into sin and rebellion against God. It went a long way before He wiped it clean. But Jesus revealed God from a different angle. And He used this word to describe His connection to us. Hint: It applies to Abraham, Moses, David, and you.

This 30-minutes is all about: A) Okey Dokey…Covenants (agreements, contracts, treatises) are throughout the Bible. Yes, there is a primary Old Covenant and a New Covenant. Some covenants have ended (Adamic), and covenants continue (Noahic). B) The Mosaic (The Law) covenant is the Old, and the Jesus (The Grace) covenant is the new. The Old came to an end because of the fault of the people. The New will never end because it's based on Jesus. C) Jeremiah 31:33 states, For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people. But How??? Through the Holy Spirit living inside us, given to us through the redeeming work of Jesus Christ.
