This 60-minutes is all about: 1) Who am I? This becomes a key component to understanding how we can connect to others. Who are you? If someone you respected, but did not know, showed up and asked you who you were, how would you answer? The reason that this has extreme value is that knowing who we help us understand where we came from and where we are going. Otherwise, we are just a ship in the night. Passing other ships. And blowing our ship horns. It sounds loud, but it accomplishes nothing. 2) Who are You? This becomes a key component to understanding how we can connect to others. Who is He? If someone you respected, but did not know, showed up and asked you who he is, how would you answer? The reason that this has extreme value is that knowing who He is... helps us understand Who we came from and to Whom we are going. Otherwise, we are just a ship in the night. Passing other ships. And showing owing our ship outline. People can’t tell who we look like, but it accomplishes nothing.

This 60-minutes is all about: 1) Why do disasters happen to nations? The people of the world say it is because the political correctness, or the fake righteousness of mankind, is not being strictly enforced. Control, control, control. These people are demonically inspired. The idea that people can establish their own righteousness apart from Jesus is a lie. And John 8 makes clear who the father of lies is. The truth is that disasters, whether they are exceedingly horrific or just kind of lousy, come about because a nation rejects the Lord God Almighty. They ignore the spilling of innocent blood. And they worship themselves more than the Creator. 2) Passion is fantastic. We should be passionate people. But as we have mentioned before, passion is in the realm of feelings. And your feelings, no matter how genuine, are not the authority to stand on. Jeremiah 17:9 makes this clear. So then, Dave, what do we stand on? That’s a good question. So here’s the best answer. We stand on the truth as our authority over every other feeling or perception we may have. And we listen to TRUTH TELLERS, not just the entertaining ones. 3) The year of favor. Doesn’t that sound great? But if a day with the Lord is a thousand years and a thousand years as a day, then the year of favor sounds even better. Guess what? When Jesus came and announced His ministry to the public, He proclaimed it was the year of favor. Do you like apples? How about them apples!

This 60-minutes is all about: 1) The priests and scribes were interpreting the Law for the people. That is their job. Most evangelicals have somewhat repulsed the Word priest because of the Catholic church. But that is wrong. The priests and the priesthood are essential to God. There is the ONE HIGH PRIEST, several other chief priests by God’s ordination, and the remainder of the priesthood connected to each believer. But the key to “priesting” is to pray for others and explain to others. That is EVERY priest’s job. 2) Don’t weep on such a day as this: One of the biggest keys for you and me is understanding this truth. This has helped me prevail in continuous Bible reading. When we engage with God’s Word, we often find ourselves under the sword of the Spirit with fresh wounds. The standards that the Word brings to us personally are God’s requirements. And we know we fall often fall short. This is the spot where we need to become mature. We see the lack, but that is NOT the time to fall into depression or inconsolable despair. 3) Celebrate with a feast and share gifts with one another: That’s the attitude that we should have when we encounter the challenges of the Lord from his Word. Why? Because God is bothering to take the time to tell us how to draw closer to Him, be like Him, and walk in His ways. That’s a reason to celebrate. God challenges us because He cares for us. Cool!

This 30-minutes is all about: A) Submit yourself to government institutions: How far? As long as it’s not a breach of biblically defined requirements. They are supposed to punish the wrong and praise the right, not putting darkness for light. B) Doing good, BY GOD’S STANDARD, is how authentic Christians should act. We overcome evil by good. Romans 12:21 “Do not be overcome by evil but overcome evil with good.” C) Live in freedom. But that freedom is not a license to sin. Treat everyone well. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the leaders.
