The David Spoon Experience Part 2 5-26-2022

This 60-minutes is all about: 1) Part One: They carried the tabernacle in the wilderness. Unfortunately, they didn’t give the respect necessary to carry the tabernacle in the wilderness. If they did give respect to the tabernacle that they carried through the wilderness, they would have remembered this: The tabernacle represents the Presence of God. And even in the wilderness, God was with them. Get it? 2) Part Two: They carried the tabernacle to the new land. Unfortunately, they didn’t continually give the respect necessary to carry the tabernacle in the new land. If they did give respect to the tabernacle that they carried into the new land, they would have remembered this: The tabernacle represents the Presence of God. And in the new land, God was with them. Get it? 3) David asked for the privilege of building a permanent place instead of a temporary setting for the tabernacle. Here is the most extraordinary image of what God had in mind the whole time regarding His tabernacle, His presence, and His temple: While Solomon was the one who actually built the temple, God is not contained in the creation of human hands. He does, however, live in His chosen human temples. Incredible!

This 30-minutes is all about: A) What we have heard, FROM THE BEGINNING. Okey dokey, what did you hear at the beginning of your faith? What was it that helped you say Jesus is Lord? That must REMAIN in you and me. B) “IF” we do that, then we remain in the Father and the Son. That is where the key lies. What we caught, in the beginning, came from The Holy Spirit. C) Romans 5:5b because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. D) This is as solid as eternal life. This 60-minutes is all about: 1) Cancer is how my dad died. A unique form of cancer. It had to do with radiation infiltration that happened to him when he was younger. Cancer eats away at a person’s insides. It’s like any poison. It’s like any sin that stays within our system. It’s like any perpetual doubt. It’s like bitterness that lives inside of us. Many people are doing better against cancer than they did fifty years ago. Unfortunately, many more are doing worse with bitterness. Guess what? It will kill you too. 2) What is the biblical way of dealing with bitterness? It can’t be phony, and it has to work. It can’t be a magic pill unless it’s a Gos-Pill. Forgiveness is a solution to bitterness. It’s biblical, and it works. The power of the ministry of forgiveness is the power of the Gospel. It holds a back from the dead, resurrecting power. And for a Christian, it must be central to our everyday living. And we will continually be dying. 3) Forgiveness is a solution and a cure for many more ailments than we often realize. You know it’s true just by the level of comfortable or uncomfortableness that we feel or connect to when we hear the phrase “forgiveness.” There are two exceedingly essential elements to forgiveness. They come to our direction by the pathway of the TRUTH.

This 30-minutes is all about: Dave's response to the mass shooting in Texas. Those that oppose sending prayers, hate God. The prayers are offered to God on the behalf of the people suffering. They are prayers that are directed to God for His comfort and mercy. To oppose that is to oppose God. If any spokesperson, political or otherwise, uses a tragedy, they should be ignored. This 60-minutes is all about: 1) He shoots, and he scores. He doesn’t shoot, and he doesn’t score. Why not? Because he didn’t shoot. Please give it up for Wayne Gretzky. He was the originator of the phrase, “you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.” But how does this integrate with our faith? Faith is spelled R-I-S-K. So, please give it a whirl. Maybe it will work. Perhaps it won’t. Either way, it’s not the end of the universe. 2) How awesome are the biblical stories about Elijah and Elisha? If you haven’t read them lately, then jump back into the Old Testament. A blessing is just waiting for you. An increase in your faith is just waiting for you. A lesson, or two, or three are just waiting for you. Here is “one” of the most striking lessons. The first few times I read this, I sought the Lord for this gift. I still do. The lesson is manifested in Jesus’s life. It is an awesome sauce. 3) We visit our great friend, Pastor ray, who is not “gone” but hanging with JC and not forgotten, because his kingdom efforts will endure for eternity. Pastor Ray writes about the power of the story. Not an imaginary story. A true story. The dictionary definition of a story is a narrative, either true or fictitious, in prose or verse, designed to interest or instruct the hearer or reader. The Gospels are the greatest and most authentic stories ever told.

Most of this is by the Holy Spirit FIRST: Romans 8:14 For all who the Spirit of God is leading, these are sons and daughters of God. Second: All things VERIFIED by God’s written Word. B) Into temptation: “To pierce with a sword.” In Greek, peirasmon, an experiment, a trial, temptation, or probation. A better definition is testing. But Dave, that’s what the Pope said: So? That doesn’t make it right or wrong. C) Deliver us from the evil one, evil. Which one? Both. D) Alternate ending: Likely valid. Start with the kingdom, end with the kingdom.
