1) We dive into the principle of what being a deist is. We define it. We describe the suppositions that a deist holds. And then we expose the lie that some of America’s greatest leaders (or servants) were deists. Any false history made up by the liberal fringe is bupkis. That’s kind of sad.
So, we need to hold on to the truth. Biblically and historically.

2) The biggest issue that needs to be addressed is the actual location of God, the Father, God, the Son, and God, the Holy Spirit. Is He on Pluto, or is He in your bedroom? Here’s a huge key; The answer is BOTH! A God who is omnipresent is everywhere and everywhere at all times. That’s the truth. Buy the truth and sell it not…(Proverbs 23:23).

3) So, the question could arise, wondering where the philosophy comes from for a person to be a deist. The first place is that it comes from being unlearned and unstable, pretty much like everyone on cable news and the view. Secondly, it comes from a lack of trust in an awesome God. And thirdly, it comes from the omission that if God can create the universe, the Dude can …write a book! Can I get an Amen?

Welcome to the 90-minute show of The David Spoon Experience.
This 60-minutes is all about:
1) Do you know what ififif means? Do not fear. Jesus will guide us to the truth. When the Disciples walked with Jesus, they came across a fig tree. I have to wonder if Jesus chose the fig tree for His teaching because Adam and Eve used a fig leaf to cover themselves in the Garden. Then Jesus applies that same lesson to a mountain. From a fig tree to a mountain. That is quite a range for using faith.
2) Nothing is going to stop me now. Nothing should be stopping you now. Nothing should be stopping us now. And nothing has been stopping Christians from getting the attention of Jesus for two thousand years. But getting His attention irritates the religious and the non-religious alike. What should we do with such a dilemma? We should care about their insights as much as less about a pet rock.
3) Oh, to be admired by the throngs of potential fans that exist in the world. We could then promote the dumbest products and still make money even if we don’t use the products. We can be the hub of all the worldly things that are deemed important. And we can guarantee that all of those efforts will be burned with fire—the fire of God. So if we do anything, it better be connected to Jesus and eternity. That’s the only way our efforts will make it past the fire.

This 60-minutes is all about:
1) A very strong principle is that God, from whatever the mess we were in, whatever the mess we are in, or whatever the mess we will get in, brings His salvation (past, present, and future). So a very strong principle is for us to understand what that salvation is. It’s a rescue operation. The picture-word for salvation is being in the water, almost drowning, and someone comes along and pulls us up into their boat.
2) What a great approach that Nehemiah takes with God. Oh Lord, listen to my prayers, the prayers of those who delight in You. The prayers of those who want to honor you, the prayers of those of us who really do think that You are super swell. We think that You are awesome, and we need some of that grace, mercy, and love that You have in abundance. Now, who can say no to a request like that?
3) Saying “Please”…is a very humble and earnest way to talk to people. It is even a more respectful way to talk with God. We demand what? Nothing. But we should recognize that it’s not ours to claim as much as His to grant. He says yes, and the whole program changes. He grants success. He is not now, nor ever, indebted to us. He grants it to us because He is generous. And He loves to bless us.

A) Repetition in the scriptures serves two purposes; To remember and to emphasize.
B) Who heard, rebelled, and moved the Lord to anger? His chosen.
C) These sins produced falling short of the promised land.
D) And why? Because they operated in UN-BELIEF!

The David Spoon Experience Part 2 12-10-21

Welcome to the 90-minute show of The David Spoon Experience.
This 60-minutes is all about:
1) Hebrews 11: The great hall of fame of faith. We will get to this expository section in about six months. But for today, we will helicopter over a favorite section of mine. The is a race before us. No, it’s not just the human race. Hardy har har. It’s a personal race. And many people need to be aware that this race is mapped out or marked out from God’s perspective. No, you don’t know every twist and turn. But God does.
2) The Scriptures give us the keys to endurance. They do so by focusing on the life and strategies of Jesus. The portion we are examining is critical for you and me to “get it.” And a huge key to this process has to do with our vision. And it has to do with writers and carpenters. And it has to do with the common struggle of Christians. Wow…it’s there’s plenty of empowerment waiting for each of us.
3) We will examine how much God loves us and proves it to us by the reality that He disciplines us. So much for worldly love, which is so filled with confusion and lies, it almost seems demonic. Almost? More like totally, dude. The bottom line is that humanities dictionaries appear to be decent but are deficient, or worse. Only God has a dictionary that is Always Accurate!

The David Spoon Experience Part 1 12-09-21

This 30-minutes is all about:
A) Not everything in the book of Thessalonians is literal, let alone the Book of Revelation.
B) Still, nothing good happens after 11:00 PM.
C) Self-control; required by God. That means controlling ourselves.
D) Putting one the armor: Another reference by the Apostle Paul to what to wear, and another reference to faith, hope, and love.

The David Spoon Experience Part 2 12-09-21

This 60-minutes is all about:
1) But a certain man and woman. My how the Garden of Eden keeps coming around. The new church is being established, and God is declaring His Good News through Jesus Christ and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. It is a new community. It is like paradise in its rebirth. But there is always an Adam and Eve in the Garden. Back at the beginning of the early days of the church, the same year as the ascension, this happened.
2) They kept back part of the money. That is fine as long as they are being honest. They could have kept all the money. Who cares? Nobody. But they “pretended” to sell their property and give ALL the church the proceeds of their sale. Their two major sins were; first, they were fake in the Christian faith. And they kept something back, themselves. These two sinful actions connected them to Satan. Bad, bad plan.
3) But theologically, did they believe in Jesus? I don’t know. And neither does anyone else. But many say yes, and many say no. They, for sure, were close enough to the church setting that they brought their offerings directly before the Apostles. But the Holy Spirit exposed them. Nothing we say, do or think, escapes God’s notice.

A) Trusting in His mercy. We had better do that because it’s trouble and more trouble than trouble with tribbles without His mercy.
B) Mercy, salvation, and bountiful. Three benefits we “receive” from the Lord. Such a deal He has for you!
C) This Psalm addresses the past, the present, and the future. Three tenses give great value to the worship song, Sing, Sing, Sing.

Welcome to the 90-minute show of The David Spoon Experience.
This 60-minutes is all about:
1) We may be afraid of things but often don’t talk about them. To some degree, there is wisdom in not giving wings and wind to dreadful things. But other things sit deeper inside us that only the Lord knows about. When those things pop up and arise in our lives, we tend to react with less faith and more terror. He’s the key. That’s not the plan from God.
2) Fear has to do with punishment. God doesn’t want us to operate in fear connecting to any form of torment. The reason is simple; biblical love does not become mature when everything we do is because we are afraid. That is the calling card of abusive relationships. Believers are NOT supposed to be walking with God as if they are walking on eggshells. That is not the design of God, but Satan.
3) God never gave us a spirit of fear. Unfortunately, too many Christians operate in fear daily. Since God didn’t give us believers the spirit of fear, and some believers seem to operate in that spirit, where does it come from? Well, we know that Satan is at the core. BUT it sure would be nice if some of us Bible-believing born-again Christians didn’t make the decisions to walk …in agreement with the enemy.
