FROM THE HOME OFFICE: Welcome to the 90-minute show of The David Spoon Experience.
This 60-minutes is all about:
1) O.K., I’m trying to be nice but, more importantly, a biblical Christian. The idea of engaging with people who do not have faith is important for believers to participate in because that’s how the lost hear the truth. But Christians who are “influenced” by detestable people or detestable things need to distinguish biblical and separate from that engagement. What fellowship has light with darkness?
2) Well, if God pulls His trigger and decides to annihilate everyone that has broken His covenants, then He would still be seen as a JUST God or a God of justice. However, suppose He defers and grants mercy instead of justice. In that case, He is being a merciful God and placing His own mercy “ahead” of His own justice. So we believe, trust, and hope for that—mercy triumphs over justice.
3) There is nothing on this earth or in this life that is better than standing in the presence of God. I’m not talking about church, Bible study, prayer, or any of the disciplines in the Christian faith that are so helpful for connecting to the Lord. I’m talking about the moments when you KNOW that God is right there with you, in you, and on you. Do you know what allows His manifested presence to surround us? Jesus!!!

1) People want to know, “what’s your special sauce?” How do authentic Christians go through trial after trial but still maintain a faith that is alive? We ALWAYS need to be ready to answer those who ask. The answer is, we do everything and see everything through the name of Jesus Christ. That’s our power.
2) With the incredible whack-a-doodles that are influencing society today, no good deed goes unpunished. The woke culture, a joke culture, wants to trench through everyone’s past, whom they don’t like, and try to bring them down. This is the opposite of the teachings of Jesus, which tells us the true origin of this philosophy. It may be politically incorrect, but it’s still highly accurate.
3) The most amazing engagement takes place when you are a child of God. You may be a fisherman, you may be a common laborer, or you may be trying to find your place. Still, as a child of God, you have the ruler of the universe on your side. 2 fishermen stood firm against all of the religious academies of the day. With God and in God, they won.

This 60-minutes is all about:
1) The Monkeys had a classic song in the 1960s, actually written by Neil Diamond. It was called “I’m a Believer.” As Christians, we love it. They sang about young love; we sing about eternal grace. But in the midst of this comes a secondary player. He is called “The Deceiver.” We are believers, and Satan is the deceiver. But which deception does he promote the most?

2) The tactical deception that the enemy uses is whatever can help him, stop you. His problem is you. He can’t stop Jesus, but he is trying to stop you and me from promoting Jesus in any way, shape, or form that he can. Suppose an enemy can neutralize the soldiers of the opposing army. In that case, he clogs up the progress of that opposing kingdom and slows it down to a crawl. That’s his primary tactic; to neutralize his opposition.

3) From a judicial point of view, nothing and nobody can stop us from promoting the kingdom of God. The authority of Jesus is on our side. So, the enemy tries to deceive us into “stepping out of bounds” so we cannot be a part of the play or the game. His tactics are to remove us from eligibility in our minds and hearts. Then we will just limp to the sidelines. Don’t be a limper. Be in the game. Jesus put you in.

A) To the FIRST Book of the New Testament. This Gospel was written for the Jewish people. To the Jew first, and then…
B) It’s very cool to see the Beatitudes move from the present to the future.
C) Poor in spirit: We know we are deficient. We need help. The kingdom of God is here to help. Watch the progression.
D) Our personal response to being spiritually deficient? Authentic weeping.

This 60-minutes is all about:
1) Do you remember the song from the 1970s? Everybody was Kung Fu fighting…If that offends because you are woke, do everyone a favor and go back to bed. We need to contend for our faith. Physically, NO. Spiritually, YES! We have the immovable truth on our side. The world and the false prophets only have worldly wisdom. In reality, their wisdom, according to God, is foolishness.
2) Are we looking for a fight? In today’s political tornados, people take a position and a ready for combat. There is a difference between arguing, reasoning, and debating. The goal is not to CRUSH THE ENEMY. The goal is to advance the Kingdom of God, not ANY kingdom of people. Wrong war.
3) Finally, back to our great friend, Pastor Ray, as we try Ray on another day. That’s a joke, I say. Because we don’t need a special day to review Pastor Ray. Any day is a good day for Pastor Ray and what he has to say. That’s because Pastor Ray is much better than A-O-K. He is a blessing in every way. And that helps us say, “Thank you, Pastor Ray, Thank you.” O.K.?

This 60-minutes is all about:
1) In Ezra’s prayer, he confesses the sins of the people in their engagement with God for the nation of Israel. While the current foreign policy is to bribe other countries to love America, the biblical plan is to have nothing to do with them. It’s a global economy if you understand the demonic approach of a one-world government. Jesus taught against this.
2) Let’s think about the simplicity of the commands of God. Don’t eat the fruit (much more likely a pomegranate than an apple), and you won’t die spiritually and then physically. Instead, you will have fellowship with me forever in this beautiful and peaceful garden. Of course, there are things to be avoided. But, that action will bring the blessings of the Lord.
3) Spank, spank. Ouch, ouch. Come on, Dad, that hurts. But as we have mentioned before, the discipline of the Lord is far less than we deserve. If we defy our Creator, we deserve destruction. Are you still living? Well then, you received far less than you deserve. So let’s live in that righteous attitude and not in one that boasts, “we are entitled.”

A) Rocking and rolling (feet on the Rock, name on the role) in Hebrews.
B) Testify! Does that mean shouting from the rooftops? Sometimes. But it also means being faithful in what has given you to do. So, testify.
C) Hold on. Help is on the way. Because if we don’t hold on, and we “let go” before the Lord arrives, we won’t see or enjoy His miraculous powers.

1) I really want people to like me. Isn’t that what social media is all about? It’s about getting people to approve of our thoughts, words, and actions. No, it doesn’t matter how immoral it all is, as long as people like and love us. I’m so glad they have a Heaven to put me in. People's approval, especially people I don’t know, nor will ever meet, sure seems important to the world.
2) Let’s see. Sinful people are running corporations, governments, social programs and establishing what should be considered politically correct or WORLDLY behavior. What could ever go wrong with that system? Oh, I know. Because of our human sinfulness, authentic caring is void, but performance orientation rules the day. The problem is that it is a SIN problem, not a fake work answer. Therefore, there is only ONE solution for sin.
3) Finally, back to our great friend, Pastor Ray, as we try Ray on another day. That’s a joke, I say. Because we don’t need a special day to review Pastor Ray.
