Welcome to the 90-minute show of The David Spoon Experience.
This 60-minutes is all about:
1) It makes no sense to have people in authority who are disturbed by the authority of Jesus. Unless, as leaders, they are godless, demonic, worldly, and agents of satan. How do we know if they are agents of satan? The enemy is the father of lies, so anyone who lies is a child of the father of lies. Suppose leadership, in any capacity, lies to manipulate people’s behaviors. In that case, they are demonically influenced, regardless of fake science or political affiliations.
2) It disturbs people to preach about Jesus. Why? Why does it bother people? The answer is easier than one might think. They hate to hear about Jesus because Jesus tells the truth. In a Christ-centered Gospel, there is individual and corporate responsibility. It’s easier just to add God into any conversation. But when we bring Jesus in, there is no room for wiggling out it.
3) Suffering may happen for those of us who desire to remain faithful. The mark of the beats has to do with permissions to buy or sell. It’s a good thing that this isn’t anywhere close to us. Unless you want to travel, go to school, see a doctor, take out a loan, finance a purchase, or eat out. Nope, no worries for us. Nobody is going to persecute the good old American Christian. Are they? Or are they already?

A) The Lord doesn’t fade. Not for Himself and not for us.
B) God is righteous. God is the Judge. Only He knows all of what happened. Nothing is hidden from His sight, including motives.
C) The Lord is a refuge: A lean-to in the rain and a secure height from danger.

1) One of the biggest problems that we face is having the wrong image of God. Another problem is a doozy too. It is close to that first one. That is having the wrong image of ourselves when we are partnering with God. If we think we are a grasshopper when we fight giants, we tend to operate with insecurity and anxiety. That is not a good plan.

2) Who wants us to be ineffective as children of God and have us believe that we cannot do much more than a bug can do in kingdom warfare? Who wants us to give up, go to the sidelines, quit, run away, and live in the spirit of fear? Besides the government, the media, and the influencers who are under demonic control. Could it be…Satan (satan, satan, satan).

3) A picture is worth a thousand words. Often, a picture can communicate the truth effectively. Consider the book of Revelation. Consider the Hall of fame of Faith in Hebrews eleven. Consider one of the greatest pictures of engaging in spiritual warfare for the Man who had the heart to follow God. Consider my name’s sake, BEFORE he was a king, back when he was just a shepherd. Consider David.

1) How many Gospels? Why? How many times has the Lord brought you through a similar trial or time of testing? How many repeats? The reason that we have similar times and trials is to teach us. The reason is because we tend to be as hardheaded as we are hardhearted. So, we need to hear it, see it, and feel it, again and again, and again. And then again.

2) Flipped out is a fun saying. Flipped around is a tough principle. And we do it so well. We turn the truth backward, sometimes, without even thinking about it. Now, as Christians, we certainly do this less than most. But it can creep in when we think the Potter needs some help with designing His clay. The clay would be us.

3) Finally, back to our great friend, Pastor Ray, as we try Ray on another day. That’s a joke, I say. Because we don’t need a special day to review Pastor Ray. Any day is a good day for Pastor Ray and what he has to say. That’s because Pastor Ray is much better than A-O-K. He is a blessing in every way. And that helps us say, “Thank you, Pastor Ray, Thank you.” O.K.?

B) Jesus is worthy of more glory than Moses. And Mo was no slouch. But he wasn’t God either.
C) The difference between the Builder and the building is straightforward. Without the Builder, there is NO building or house.
D) Putting it into perspective. Unless the Lord builds the house…they labor in vain that take it on (Psalm 127:1).

1) Free. Free. Thank God, through Jesus Christ, that we are free at least. Without Jesus Christ, there is NO freedom. But there is wisdom in this understanding. Freedom is guaranteed through Jesus. From the penalty point of view, freedom is immediate. From the practical point of view, freedom can often be a process. Let's stand in that truth.
2) Attitude counts with God. Attitude can also be understood as a point of view, a perspective, or a mindset. There is a specific characteristic that God would like us to operate in. It does NOT mean that everyone has to do it the same way. But it does mean that God expects a certain level of quality of behavior. That quality is enthusiasm. It’s a character that shows an eagerness with all of our hearts.
3) It’s time to return to the wisdom of an old friend. We examine a devotion from our brother, Pastor Ray. He dives into the tangibility of GRACE. There is more grace than we know, intellectually or experientially. The Lord recently shared with me that I don’t understand the depth of grace. So, I am very excited to learn, grow, and know the depth of His grace for me. And for you.

This 60-minutes is all about:
1) God the Father will be sending Jesus Christ back to the earth. We need to be ready. Jesus is coming again. He walked the earth once, in human form. He will return in like fashion with His resurrected body. The problem with the church is that people ONLY want Jesus to come again, not to have to face ANY troubles. We should want Jesus to return because of how awesome He is, not just to escape.
2) Until the times of restoration. Get ready. Here is a mind-blower. A twig twister and brain blitz; The Father won’t send the Son until every person that needs to be converted is converted. That’s a top reason to keep witnessing to people. You may share the grace of God with the VERY LAST PERSON that needs to hear and respond to Jesus. Don’t miss that possibility.
3) Since the world began. Just stop and think about this. Don’t rush through this. Slow down. Consider that God has been sharing bits and pieces of His plan since the earth made its debut. The Garden of Eden gave witness. The post sin prophets gave witness. The post-Jesus Christ prophets gave witness. Prophets still give witness. The Holy Spirit gives witness. And the Bible continually gives witness. That’s a lot of witnesses.

2) The apostle Paul wrote, When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child. But when I grew up, I put away childish things (1 Corinthians 13:11). One of the classic characteristics of being a child is the desire or the threat to “run away.” The worst part about that is how many adult Christian people want to run away. Run, Forrest, run. But you won’t get very far.

3) How rehearsed are we for when we engage with God? Do we have our “this is how we do it” speech nailed down for when we ask God to be a bit more generous? Structure in prayer is a good thing. Over rehearsed speech preparation is a bad thing. Sometimes, we just need to God to the Father and say, “Dad…we need to talk,” and leave it at that.
