1) Continuing daily. Hmm. Let me think. Where have I heard this "daily" thing before? Could it be, maybe, from our D.N.A.? Hmm. Let me think. Where did Jesus talk about the daily unity thing before? Could it be when He said to pray the Our Father prayer…daily.
2) Breaking bread house to house. It is the most intimate element of Jewish culture. It's not the temple. Everyone went to the temple looking their best. But eating together is where the real vulnerability is. If you have fellowship without eating together, you may be having G.F. disease. GUARDED FELLOWSHIP SYNDROME.
3) Gladness and simplicity. Doesn't that sound awesome? First gladness, which means less sadness. A continual attitude of Divine appreciation is a continual feast. And second is the principle of simplicity. There is a warning within the Scriptures not to be removed from the simplicity. That warning is there to help us keep it simple.

1) It's critically important for Americans to understand that our plethora of benefits is a blessing. But there are times when the blessings our benefits can work themselves into a curse. First, we must get a handle on our faith. It is NOT an add-on…it is an "ALL IN" or not in at all faith.
2) When the official final address was given to the collective church by Jesus Himself, seven churches were among them. Some people believe that these represent church ages. Okey-doke. But that is NOT what it says. Others believe that this is the church at large, at any one time. But the key texts are about the churches we want to be and the church we don't want to be.
3) Living for the pleasing of others is a promise of displeasing to God. Making other people the place to receive praises is making sure that God is disappointed with you and me. The call is to love others and help others, but not to please others unless you want to be an enemy of God.

1) When people sneeze, we say, "God bless you." Urban legend states that we do this because when a person sneezes, your heart skips a beat. Well, I'm no doctor (yet). And I don't play one on TV. But the truth is before that notion came into being, God only gave us the prescription.
2) Some people will never get it. They have no idea what the button "I found it" means. They mock all those silly Christian bumper stickers and sneer at those people who attend church. But why do they feel this way? Because of what they love. And because of what they don't love.
3) There is more to the Chrisitan walk than Sunday mornings. I love good sharing, good testimonies, good preaching, and good teaching. I marvel at the wisdom that comes from the lips of the anointed people of God. They share the truths and the testimonies of God with such grace. However, there is only One who shares with such power that just hearing…is the blessing.

This 60-minutes is all about:
1) Remember the cowardly lion? Put em up, put em up! The one thing he needed was courage. Think about it. It takes courage to believe God. Of course, people will mock you for your faith. That’s not new. But how we stand regarding that mocking demonstrates our courage. And courage, mixed with a mustard seed of faith, produces serious well-being.
2) Noodle baker, noodle baker. How are we doing when it comes to living for the praises of God and not for people? Does our courage shine through, or do we act all formal and stiff around other people? Starch is great for shirts (I think), but not for faith. Real faith can walk on water. Hey…wait. That’s not too dignified.
3) The Lord knows what He’s doing, despite our second-guessing nature. The graciousness of our God brings into three sections of a journey. The first is out. The second is through. And the last is into. We need to walk as the people of God. There is, for each one of us, a Promise Land. Say Amen!

Welcome to the 90-minute show of The David Spoon Experience.
This 60-minutes is all about:
1) When God shows up, and it's real, there is a hush over the crowds. Fear and awe came upon people when the supernatural was super evident. There is a keen awareness that something incredible is happening. Do we see the extraordinary now? If you have ever seen someone decide for Jesus or an answer to prayer, you have been a witness to a miracle and a resurrection. Wow!
2) Together is the key. Together is how the early church was such a great witness. They were one. If we think of the church right this second, we think of so much splintering. But right now, in your life, at this moment, you can be part of THE TOGETHER. Be a companion to all that fear Him, and love every authentic Christ-follower. Beyond the denominational walls.
3) They sold their possessions and goods. Wow. Some commentators believe that they did that because they thought Jesus was coming back immediately. Others believe that they give their possessions away to invest in eternity. The Bible tells us that LOVE believes the best, not the worst, in others. Let's go with that.

1) The will of God. We love the idea of operating in it. We long to please the Lord, and we want to make sure that we are doing the very thing He desires of us. But, doing His will, with our specific fingerprints, is a lifelong journey, with twists and turns. The path is narrow. Now, if only we could please Him consistently while we are on the journey…
2) Opposites attract. Sometimes. At other times, opposites create struggle and warfare. In the Kingdom of God, almost everything functions in the opposites. The opposites have to do with the ways of the world versus the ways of God. When the world says to hate your enemies, the Kingdom says love your enemies. When the world says prove it, God says believe it. When the world says that the situation is lousy that we have the right to complain. God says…
3) Ladies and germs, what's the real problem? Why do we feel the need to respond to God verbally when we don't understand His plan, timing, or methods? Then, perhaps, we can humble ourselves long enough to recognize that some of our inherited attitudes come from the old Adam and not enough from the new Adam. Oops…
