This 60-minutes is all about:
1) There are many things that we anticipate. We expect the sun to rise tomorrow. We often expect heavy traffic. We expect that no matter who is in government, someone in government will say or do something stupid. And we expect God to respond to us as His children. The question is what type of expectation do we have with God?
2) We have needs. And we have wants. We have a "must have" category, "could really use" category, and a "wouldn't that be swell category". The problem comes when we have too little or too much. Christians need to be more like Goldilocks and find the "Just Right" zone. The one from God.
3) Remember the classic science fiction movies and shows. What happened when the aliens would visit the earth? They would say "Take me to your leaders" and everyone would wait to see what happened. Isn't Christianity GREAT? There is NO "take me to your leaders" in the mind of God. At least not for the most important stuff. The leaders of the world, in God's mind, are the humble servants.

A) Paul could not stand it any longer (What? Is he human?)
B) Fearing the tempter (the enemy) may have won a few battles, BUT never the war.
C) Our labor, prayers, encouragement, and teachings are not forgotten by God (Hebrews 6:10) but can be lost to various Christ-followers at certain times.
Hebrews 6:10 > God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.

This 60-minutes is all about:
1) The penalty for not obeying God’s commands was severe for Adam and Eve. And for all their offspring (us). There was immediate spiritual death, separation from innocence, and pain and physical death, not to mention the destruction of nature, from sin’s stench. So, is it any surprise that the penalty for disobedience carries a high price now? No.
2) Praise the Lord for MAKING THE KING…get it? God made the king do something. But Dave, the only way to change things is by ferocious political agendas. Dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb. God could make all the people in our country cluck like chickens. He can move the leaders. Maybe we should believe that more.
3) Do you want to know one of the most encouraging portions of our faith is? Knowing that the God of the universe is with us, no matter what we feel like, no matter what we see with the natural eye, and no matter what the world says. He is the King of the universe. And HE is the majority.

This 60-minutes is all about:
1) There comes the point in the Christian journey that simplification has excellent power. There is a concern that we could be removed from the simplicity that is in Christ. We tend to complicate things. How simply? How about a three-step dance right into eternity?
Some wonderful testimonies by Cordelia and JoyAnn, and a few more cool things. Hey...laugh a little.
2) Remember the song “Stay…just a little bit longer?” For those a little younger, there was a band named Kansas, who wrote a song called “Hold On.” What does this have to do with our faith? Everything. Because the Lord makes it clear that “Hang in there, baby” is the key.
