It's Expository Thursday, and although Dave doesn't like camping, things are getting "intense." Diving into Ephesians 4:17-18, TDSE points out that Paul's primary emphasis is for Christians to "be different" than the carnal man (which Paul calls Gentiles). These carnal people are marked by their futility. They have no worthwhile purpose as their purpose. And they are void in thinking regarding eternity, so they do not restrain their behavior. Too close it out, Dave points out that the carnal people are excessive in the "ignorance" because their hearts are hard. A hard heart creates calluses that don't allow touching from God. Christians need to have a sensitive heart to God.

It's wonderful Wednesday, and on today's TDSE, there are challenges and encouragements to have the Lord "increase' in our lives.1st up is the wisdom of a "soft" answer. Not every discussion needs to be a bull by the horns.
Next, Can a shortage of supplies be just what the Great Physician ordered?A Bible Baloney Beat-down...and unless God pushes the "enable enjoyment" button, we are out of luck!

On today's TDSE; David discusses where our source, and where our resources, come from. The answer is found in Genesis 1:1. And when Jesus talked about being the youngest ...what type of characteristics did He have in mind? Dave reviews a rabbinical outline of what the youngest is like. Also, Predestination versus Freewill. Who wins? God's truth. And finally, big isn't always better (ask Goliath), as Big D talks about the shortest Bible verse that's filled with power!

Sad news about Kobe Bryant. It certainly makes a person think of the requirement of "being ready" ALWAYS in the Lord. Dave talks about testing. Boo testing; but it's part of the Kingdom life, so Yeah testing, because God likes it. Then TDSE examines our WCS...which many of us are famous for. And now for something new: Dave shows from his own personal devotion how the Bible assisted him in his prayers...on Saturday. And finally, what would you think if you were standing in front of the Red Sea, as it was split in two?

Dave takes on people who cry foul about judging ...by judging them! Then, the discussion turns to how God and snowflakes aren't the best blend, since He doesn't care if He's offensive. Then, Johnnie Hill takes the reigns on segment three as he shares about getting tire and remembering who God his when that happens.

Expository Thursday on TDSE...why...it's almost a Christmas Miracle. First up is Ephesians 4:14, where we find out that too many Christians have Baby Bible Brains. And Paul compares those people to unstable ships that get tossed around by the winds of false teachers and teachings. The way to grow up is two-fold; by "speaking the truth" which we can only do if we know what the truth is. And by speaking His truth...in love. That can only be done if we know His heart. The bottom line is that we become mature when we walk by His truth, speak with His heart, and serve one another.

Dave continues on the theme of the Christian Faith NOT, NOT, NOT being a social program. Jesus is a Lamb BEFORE He is a model. And Jesus makes that clear by separating the priorities of God from the priorities of Mankind (Mark 8:33). Then Dave challenges us to remember when the faith was young...and we were on fire for the Lord. We can recapture that. Finally, the essence of Biblical Christianity is summed up in Philippians 3:7-9. Are we seeing this? More importantly, are we living this?

One of the Best Shows Yet! God wastes nothing, not even time in your life. How is that possible? He created time, and He can redeem time. Bible Baloney Beat-down as Dave shows clearly through the words of Jesus that Christianity is not a social program. And whats playing at the drive in? Not the old theater, but the movies between our ears. We need to make sure that the "shows" we see in our head...aren't FAKE ones, from the enemy!

Mondays are "bad" days...Mondays are Brand New Days and "gifts" from the Lord. Dave tears apart the man-made stereotype of which days are bad and which days are good. If it ends in a "Y", then God made it. And what God makes...is good. If we can focus our lives in more of a "day by day" attitude, then we may find out that we have plenty of faith for each day, and all our needs covered. Since being afraid of tomorrow is the sin of doubt, maybe we should focus on that. Instead, lets humble ourselves, and trust, delight, commit, and be dumb. That's what God wants and that's what we should do.

It's Expository Thursday, on Friday.Yeah! Dave tackles the core of the letter to the church at Ephesus. Ephesians 4:13-15 are at the heart of the purpose of the letter (epistle). In verse 13, we find that the offices mentioned in verses 11-12 are to remain..."until" there is unity of the faith. So, how can we have unity but at the same time need to find unity? The unity defined prior is our position, the unity called for in these verse is the practical. We have it, but we need to use it. Just like our positional and practical with the old and new man. And the practical of our unity is found in our oneness regarding Jesus; Who He is and what He's done. And our knowledge of Him; What He's accomplished for us. (:

Johnnie Hill and His son Angel jump into The Experience, and they have a discussion about legalistic people. Legalistic people are a drag. Don't be a drag. And some people who need healing...don't really want healing, because they enjoy the sympathy. And does being a good Christian mean being a quiet Christian? Well, not according to the first true Christian, Jesus Christ.

On this day, great things happened...because God is working. 1st up is the challenge as to whether we treat Jesus like Herod did. Are we thinking that Jesus does birthday parties magic tricks? He doesn't. Next up is the review of the "depth" of the forgiveness we receive from Jesus. His blood cries differently than the blood of Abel. And when we make decisions, do we seek God's counsel, or go with the assumption of the moment? The old adage is true: When we assume ...we make an....(I think you get it).
