DDD: Time to make a Change? 2 Chronicles 33:2-13 Dave talks about Manasseh taking his people in the wrong direction. Manasseh was 10 times worse than any modern ruler but he changed his ways when the Lord judge him and punished him. What's bugging Dave? David talks about the New York Times taking heat for the article on salads being "racist" for calling them Asian or Greek salad. Being Down …isn’t Being Out We go through things that are hard and painful. Lamentations 3:19-25 God's Grace and Mercy is there for us when we are feeling down. God is Good.
The “clothes” make the person "God is apposed to the proud but gives grace to the humble" Dave says we should wear our humility like we wear our clothes. People that are full of pride doesn't have God on their side. We need to be humble which allows us to give away our anxiety because you're in trust with your King.

The final DDD: Let Go… Sometimes we need to just stop looking back. There are thing in our life we need to let go of. The enemy will bring it up at awkward times for awkward reflection. DDD: The Laundry List Dave talks about himself Praying in the morning to get himself focused. David has a laundry list of things he brings to The Lord which isn't wrong but sometimes it's as if The Lord doesn't already know. Matthew 6:31-32. God is all knowing .Our Heavily Father knows what he need. God is all knowing. It’s NOT News Dave talks about the purpose of Prayer. It's not new when you Pray and spend time with God. He knows what you need...not give you whatever you want. He even knows what you need even before you ask. Why Pray you ask, we don't Pray to inform or impress God no we Pray to spend time with God and He likes when we spend time with Him.
Less Blab, More Listen Matthew 6:7 When we talk to God don't keep babbling, speaking more in Prayer does not make God respond better. Psalm 46:10 There is a way to commune with God without talking a lot. It's often a show for other people. Dave challenges us, in our first minute of Prayer know you're in His presence but don't saying anything. Recognize His honor. DDD: Get a Clue "You didn't choose me, I chose you" Jesus chose us. It's important Hebrew 2:10 "The Captain of our Salvation" God wants to spend and eternity with us. A Wrench in the Plan Salvation is not by works system. You won't have as many good works, it wont amount to inside and out every sin you've committed. Also you can't earn Salvation it's a gift. It's an imputed gift the righteous that comes from God is a grant not a loan. Not Passing OUR Inspection WE become inspectors of our own Salvation "the alter take back" we need a sense of control but what we need to do is Trust in God. God knows what we need to work on next. We think we can pick up were He left off but we can't. We need to do what The Lord is working on. Trusting God in the beginning, middle and end. Philippians 1:6 You Can Count on ME! We can count on God for our progress. He which began a good work in you will finish, when we believe this we will have more peace and rest in our Salvation.

DDD: Ashamed? Dave says not to be apologetic and ashamed of Jesus, His Word, His miracles, His teachings and our walk with the Lord. We as believers don't have to except the shame of worldly people. DDD: The First Word Dave discusses the first words in the book of Genesis. It all started because God said/spoke. Hebrews 11:3 the universe was made out of God's command. It's important for us to understand how powerful words are. To Say…or not to Say Do not be quick with your mouth, do not be hasty in your heart to utter anything before God. God is in heaven and you are on earth, so let your words be few. (Ecclesiastes 5:2 NIV) There is power, commitment and obligations that comes with the words we use be careful of ensnaring/trapping yourself with your words. If our words speak life and death we need to realize the power our words hold. Hearing our own Speaking we can undercut ourselves we need to speak what we believe. When we speak against ourselves we're just caring more burden. The Sowing of Sound! Dave challenges us to sometime this week say something to Spiritually lift another person up.
