1) In a DDDDD entitled "Recognize," we turn to the Gospel of Luke to comprehend a crucial aspect: when the Lord approaches individuals, groups of people, or even a city-state or nation, the fundamental question is whether they will recognize Him. To put this into perspective, the Jewish people of Israel, despite being chosen by God, failed to recognize the arrival of the Messiah.2) One of my favorite DDDDD’s is titled "Something Out of Nothing." To me, this is where the power of God shines most brilliantly. There is only one creative miracle that is mentioned in all four Gospels. We usually read about it in the Gospel of Matthew, but I want to examine it in the Gospel of Luke to understand the power behind the feeding of the 5,000. I promise you, it offers an intriguing perspective that we may not have considered before. So stay tuned and buckle up, little campers.3) It’s time for another classic teaching from our brother Pastor Ray. There’s not too many more that we can teach, but his effectiveness in ministry is undeniable. He was a blessing while he was traveling this earth, and he’s a blessing now that he is dancing on streets of gold. It’s amazing because the issue that he brings up is the same issue that we practiced previously dealt with, and that is: Do it now. Don’t put off tomorrow what you can do today. Tomorrow is not a solution for you getting right with God because there might not be a tomorrow.

A) He follows that up by saying, “Humble yourselves before the Lord, and the Lord will exalt you.” This is very challenging for many people in this country because we are oriented towards having a certain sense of pride in our country, state, city, church, family, and ourselves. However, there is a good pride and a bad pride. The wrong pride always points towards ourselves. The righteous pride is the one that points to the Lord, acknowledging that all we have exists by His grace, breath, and love.B) In verse 11, James says, “Do not slander one another.” It’s crucial for us to understand that when we encounter people from different denominations or those who hold different doctrines than we do, that are not essential doctrines of the core Christian faith, we need to be careful about how we speak of these people or judge them. These are God’s children, and God loves them every bit as much as He loves you and me.C) James concludes this thought process by saying if you judge, you’re judging against the law and your understanding of the law that God has established in the eternal heavens and the Earth. We should probably be a bit careful here because there is only one lawgiver and one judge. So, who are we to judge another man’s servant, and who are we to judge whether their position and their life experiences did not lead them to their current beliefs? We ought to be a little more careful and appreciative of the differences.

In this next hour, Dave launches into a heartfelt discussion about the importance of supporting one another, fostering love, and demonstrating care. These virtues bind us together, creating a resilient network of compassion and understanding.
Dave delves into a fascinating perspective: the Lord God Almighty as a secret spy. Imagine Paul’s nephew, privy to a plot against Paul. How did he gain this crucial information? According to Dave, it was divine intervention—the Lord orchestrating events behind the scenes, ensuring that Paul’s safety remained intact.
Our lives, with all their intricacies, are not hidden from the Lord. He knows our joys, struggles, and even the evil schemes plotted against us. His watchful eye never wavers, providing constant protection and guidance.
Drawing from Job chapter 12, Dave emphasizes that God grants us life and showers us with favor. We are not alone; our spirits remain under His vigilant care.
As the show concludes, we revisit an inspiring interview with Bob Hartman and Petra. Their upcoming concert promises to uplift hearts and ignite hope.

1) Romans 3:11 provides an unequivocal indictment: it's not a question, nor an option, but definitive proof that humans are not inherently good (See Luke 11:13). The scripture states, "There is none righteous, no, not one." Apart from Jesus Christ, no person has lived a sinless life. In the King James Version, where it mentions that Job is perfect, it implies that he was mature and complete, not sinless.2) The subsequent statement intensifies the argument: humans are filled with lies. As we've already learned, "God is true, but every man is a liar." This simply means that God is truthful, and every human is a liar. At this point, one might think of James, who would have appreciated this portion of Paul's writing. It's the tongue that's filled with deceit and lies, and also with bitterness. This is quite easy to discern; just listen to a person's words.3) The indictment further clarifies that such people lack true peace and fear of God in their lives. Paul distinguishes between those who resist surrendering to God and those who choose to bow with joy.4) As we delve into the next round of theology, Paul elucidates that the purpose of the law is to bring people to a position where they can no longer make excuses. The law makes it clear that all have failed. The reality is that the more we know and understand the law, the more we realize that we have failed God by disobeying the law. The law served as our tutor to bring us to Christ.

A) The David Spoon Experience takes an entirely unexpected turn. Roslyn calls in to share both a praise report and a prayer request. She seizes the opportunity to discuss her engagement with the gospel among a person of different faiths, specifically the Muslim faith. The individual she was conversing with was overwhelmed by her willingness to engage in dialogue. This is a positive development. Consequently, she sought advice on how to approach sharing the gospel.B) David takes the time to advise her that she should promote and discuss the power and truth of the Kingdom of God rather than attempting to discredit the other person's beliefs. He encourages her to share what God has done in her life. According to David, this is the most powerful weapon. Moreover, it’s the truth, and the truth always prevails.

1) Returning to Genesis, we find ourselves at Chapter 3, Verse 12. After God confronts Adam about his concealment and nakedness, Adam admits his failure. Interestingly, he then shifts the blame, a behavior we have seen repeatedly throughout history. He tells the Lord, "It's the woman's fault. She gave me the fruit." This is what we call shifting blame, a phenomenon prevalent in all aspects of life, especially politics. This might explain its prevalence of sin.2) The Lord addresses each entity individually, as each one exhibits a blame-shifting attitude. It's amusing because God knows exactly what transpired. When the Lord confronts Eve, he asks, "How could you do this?" Eve's response is self-justification. She simply states, "The serpent tricked me. That's why I ate it." This is her way of denying personal responsibility, blaming the snake instead. This line was humorously used by a popular comedian in the 1970s. Unfortunately, some people have adopted it as their truth: "The devil made me do it."3) The Lord God knows the root of all this evil: Satan himself. Multiple passages indicate that Satan was the serpent in the Garden of Eden. This isn't a complex issue to understand. Consequently, the serpent becomes a cursed creature, forever consuming dust. Ironically, God is now about to pass a severe judgment on Satan. It's a powerful deviation from Satan's original intent of emulating God.4) Verse 15 clarifies that from now on, the woman and Satan will be enemies, as will their offspring. Satan sought allies in his quest to lead humanity into worshipping him. However, the Lord disrupted his plans, turning his potential ally into his enemy. The woman's offspring, representing members of humanity, and Jesus specifically, now stands opposed to Satan.5) We must not overlook the prophetic declaration: "He will crush your head, and you will strike his heel." Thus, Satan's enemy becomes humanity, and more specifically, Jesus Christ, referred to as the second Adam in the Book of Romans. Additionally, God points out that those who achieve victory will crush the enemy's head, but they will also suffer a bite to their heel. We have victory over Satan, but bear scars from the encounter. If you have any doubts, just ask Jesus. He bears scars on his wrists.

A) Second Timothy 2:14 reminds us of the importance of memory in our spiritual journey. The New Testament, from Jesus to John, frequently urges readers to remember or remind each other of God’s teachings. This is because we tend to forget. Remembering the great things that God has done can alleviate emotional, psychological, physical, and spiritual suffering.B) The Apostle advises Timothy not to engage in fruitless debates. The Greek word for ‘strive’ means to battle, suggesting that arguing over words, concepts, principles, or philosophies with no eternal value is a waste of time. It would be more beneficial to spend that time doing something enjoyable, like watching a favorite 60’s or 70’s TV show for 30 minutes.C) Verse 15 introduces a new line of thought. We are commanded to present ourselves as approved before God, unashamed, and rightly dividing the word of truth. Being approved before God relates to our conduct as we strive to emulate Jesus Christ. Being unashamed involves never doubting God’s words, methods, timing, or purposes, which are all perfect and designed for our benefit.D) Rightly dividing the word of truth means accurately handling the word of God. This phrase originates from the Greek word ‘orthotomounta’, which means to make straight or smooth. This smoothness refers to the flow of the scripture, suggesting it should be interpreted in the spirit of the word rather than in disjointed segments.E) We are advised to SHUN to avoid vain and profane babbling. This refers to engaging in endless theories that hold no real value. Such discussions should be avoided as they do not produce any Kingdom fruit. To shun means to reject, avoid, or ignore.

Doctor Dave's Devotional Diamonds of the Day!1) The first one is titled "Choose Now". What can that possibly mean other than we have to choose? The question is, what is it that we're choosing? Every time we make a decision, we have to choose for one kingdom or another. But oftentimes, we rarely consider the kingdom implications. In the Gospel of Luke, Jesus challenges the religious leaders to make a declaration about their choices. Were those choices geared towards heaven or towards earth, towards spirit or towards flesh, towards now or towards eternity? With Faith...or with Fear?2) This next DVD is tremendously ferocious. The real question is, can everything we go through, the ups and the downs, the frustrations and the victories, the successes and the failures, be from God? Can everything we go through be part of God's plan for us to grow up in Jesus? 3) We take a few extra moments in today's show to acknowledge our great friend Pastor Ray, who's again dancing on the streets of gold. Sometimes I read his devotions, and they just encourage me to draw closer to the Lord. Sometimes, I read his devotions, and they just make me want to go to heaven. Ray talks about where Divine Silence and what the purpose is, that exists behind the scenes.

It’s a phenomenal Friday show. Our great friend, Sergio, calls in and asks a very profound question: Where did Moses get the courage to walk into the cloud where the presence of the Lord was?David answers that question with three essential principles. The first is that God loves us, loves us, and will always love us. The truth is, we can have the courage to go into the presence of the Lord because of the love that the Lord has for us. Of course, this is made possible through the redeeming work of Jesus Christ. The second principle concerns the more we spend time in the presence of the Lord, the more we want to spend time in the presence of the Lord. That’s where we find our purpose for being. When creation spends time with the Creator, it finds life. The third principle is that we need to continually understand that God wants us. We don’t think in those terms very often. People often say God loves us, but he doesn’t like us. God’s not going to spend eternity with somebody He doesn’t like. He likes us. He wants us. He made everything possible so we can spend eternity together.

1) As we delve back into Acts Chapter 23, we resume with verse 12, where we discover a plot to kill Paul. He is effectively dismantling the Kingdom of Men by proclaiming the Kingdom of God. A group of Jewish individuals vowed not to eat or drink until they had killed Paul. Being a Christian is not for the faint-hearted, but it is for those who desire eternal life.2) This group formulated a plan in collaboration with the people's leaders. They struck a deal with the priests to bring Paul back under the pretense of examining his case more thoroughly. The underlying plot was to kill Paul during this process. The people's leaders conspired with religious individuals, who were religious in name only, also known as 'RINOs,' to halt Paul's proclamation about Jesus.3) We get a brief glimpse into Paul's personal life when we learn that Paul's nephew overheard their plan and informed Paul. It's intriguing to speculate where this young man was, what he was doing, how he was connected to Paul, and how often he saw him. While this is all conjecture and not to be preached as Gospel truth, it's certainly interesting to ponder. Paul's nephew relayed everything he heard, and Paul instructed him to reveal the info.4) It's hard to believe that such a scenario could occur today. Who could possibly think that the people's leaders would conspire with members of religious and secular communities to condemn individuals for their beliefs? It's unthinkable that any government would oppress its people for having opinions and ideas. Yet, on reflection, it seems that many governments are guilty of this.

A) We return to Jude, verse 4, where we’ve already learned that we need to defend the faith once and for all delivered to the Saints. The weapons of our warfare are not worldly, but mighty through God. They are spiritual weapons. Jude explains this warfare by informing us that certain men have infiltrated the church unnoticed, bringing with them harmful influences and evil teachings.B) Astonishingly, these individuals have already been marked for condemnation. They are destined to face judgment for sowing seeds of discord, lies, and false teachings. In today’s age, it’s not hard to identify those who speak in the name of God, yet create discord, spread falsehoods, and propagate false teachings about Jesus. Such individuals are prevalent across various media platforms.C) One of the primary false teachings propagated by these individuals is the misuse of God’s grace as a license for immorality. In simple terms, they devalue God’s grace. Their theory is that they can act as they please and then simply claim grace. This approach not only opens them up to a life of sin but also places them in complete denial of Jesus Christ. Such actions will not go unpunished. Are they saved? No.
